Dr Richard Symes

Dr Richard Symes  is a Medical Retina, Uveitis and Glaucoma Specialist.

Richard, served as Britain’s representative to the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) young ophthalmologists committee. He also served on the Royal College of Ophthalmologists Scientific committee and Surgical Skills committee.

He has been actively involved in clinical trials for retinal diseases. He has published a number of articles in the scientific press on cataract surgery visual outcomes.

EDUCATION

He graduated from Imperial College (London), completed his ophthalmology residency in London, he undertook his subspecialty fellowship training in medical retina and uveitis in London, he undertoo subspecialty glaucoma training in Canada.
